Our Mission:

1. To promote best practices in the education of all exceptional children and youth, especially those with behavioral disorders or serious emotional disturbance.
2. To encourage, nurture, and advance efficient and effective programs which enhance the awareness, exploration, preparation, and transition for children and youth with behavioral disorders.
3. To collaborate with other organizations on issues relating to behavioral disorders, and to disseminate such information to its members.
4. To support the goals of the Council for Exceptional Children and its members.
