Recognizing U.S. Senator Charles E. Grassley

Whereas, United States Senator Charles E. Grassley of Iowa has been nationally recognized as a leader in ensuring that America’s three million students with gifts and talents have access to an education that is challenging and appropriate for their unique learning abilities,;

Whereas, Senator Grassley has made the education of America’s advanced learners a top priority in his Senate career through his steadfast support of the Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education Act;

Whereas, Senator Grassley has been recognized by the Council for Exceptional Children as the 2007 recipient of the Outstanding Public Service Award;

Be it resolved, that the Pennsylvania Association Council for Exceptional Children (PACEC) offers its congratulations to Senator Charles E. Grassley for his unwavering leadership, creative thinking and unparalleled dedication to America’s students with gifts and talents.

Be it further resolved, that the PACEC supports his efforts and the efforts of his colleagues in the United States Congress who are supports of the Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education Act.
