Whereas, Christopher Tabakin has served with distinction as Pennsylvania’s Representative to the Council for Exceptional Children’s (CEC) Children and Youth Action Network (CAN) for the past years;

Whereas, Christopher Tabakin has played an integral role in grassroots advocacy by establishing key relations with state and Congressional delegations and disseminating policy information to the Pennsylvania PACEC Board and PACEC members;

Whereas, Christopher Tabakin was selected out of 79 CAN Coordinators to be the recipient of the 2007 CEC CAN Coordinator Award;

Be it resolved, the Pennsylvania Association Council for Exceptional Children (PACEC) offers it heartfelt congratulations to Christopher Tabakin on his national award from CEC.

Be it further resolved, the PACEC offers its sincere thanks to Christopher Tabakin for his efforts to promote positive outcomes for individuals with disabilities through his work as PACEC’s CAN Coordinator.
